Sunday Services

Sunday School

We believe that kids are precious and important! We have a special time of Sunday School for the kids.  They begin in the main auditorium with the family.  During the service they are invited to come to the front of the church so that we can pray with them before they go downstairs for a time of their own, with a lesson geared for their age.

The Lord makes it very clear in His Word that children are very important to Him! (Matthew 18:5-6)  We are instructed to teach our children about God and His ways! (Deuteronomy 6:5-9; 11:19)  We are to train them up in the way they should go so that they learn to walk in the ways of the Lord and honor Him (Proverbs 22:6).

Jesus said:

'Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me...'  Matthew 18:5-6

Sunday Morning Worship

Time: 10:30 am

This is our main Service.

All are welcome to join us from 10:00 - 10:30 am for coffee
which is served before the Service.

Dress: Casual is the norm!

What to expect:

We have a variety of music styles led different Sundays by three different Worship leaders, from traditional hymns to more contemporary music.   We use instruments of different types to lead us into our time of worship in song and "praise the Lord with a joyful noise."

We have classes for children during this service.   There is no offering taken up at these  meetings, however, if you would like to participate in giving there are drop-in offering boxes set at the back of the church for giving.

We have a separate traditional communion service at 9:15 - 10:30am on all Sundays except the first Sunday of the month.  On the first Sunday of every month, we meet together for ONE service at 10:30 am where Communion is included in the service.  Everyone is welcome to attend all services!

We would be delighted to give you a warm welcome as you check out our church.

Communion4

Communion Service

A traditional (Breaking of Bread) communion service is at 9:15  - 10:00 am on all Sundays except the first Sunday of the month.

On the first Sunday of the month we enjoy a communion service included in the service!

This is a time of remembering what our Saviour Jesus Christ did for us when He died on the cross for our sins.  He took our place to give us new life, hope of a future, eternal life, peace and forgiveness.  All because of His great love for us.  It is an important part of our worship.

We remember Jesus' sacrifice for us every time we participate in communion.  We celebrate His sacrifice in the same way He did with His disciples on the night He was betrayed!

He said:

"This is my body, which is given for you.  Do this in remembrance of me"  ... This cup is the new covenant between God and his people, an agreement confirmed with my blood.  Do this in remembrance of me..."   I Corinthians 11:24-25

Word From the Pastor

Jim and ClaudetteBancroft Bible Chapel has a special place in my heart because it is the church I grew up in as a child!  I thank the Lord for this place because it is here that I came to know Jesus Christ as my Saviour and grew up to love Him and desire to serve Him with all my heart and life!I later married my wife Claudette from the Gaspe Coast, and together we headed for Dallas Theological Seminary where I studied and obtained my Master's Degree in Theology and a Doctorate in Ministry.  We served the Lord as Pastor in New Carlisle Bible Chapel, Quebec for over 20 years.  We felt led back to Bancroft where we eventually accepted to Pastor at Bancroft Bible Chapel in 2011.

Our desire is to seek and serve the Lord with all our heart and help lead others to a life that is full, rewarding and complete through Jesus Christ!  He is so desiring to bless you too with a joy that is unspeakable.

It is our desire to connect with you and to be of service to you where ever we can!

If you are looking to connect with a church family we hope you will join us!

If I can help by answering some questions please contact me.
